We had the pleasure of capturing Opening Day for the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District's Out to Lunch series. Every week this event brings together an incredible cross-section of Worcester through music, food, and community—and it's always fun to capture.
This week's soundtrack came from MINKA—possibly the East Coast's sexiest synth-funk keytar outfit (Sorry, Keytar Bear. I just don't find bears sexy). As the frontman put it, "The keytar is a window to the soul... of funk." Got to give props to this dude walks around the streets of Philadelphia with 70 pounds of equipment strapped to his back.
The narration comes from Worcester Youth Poet Laureate Shantelle Campbell, whose reflections on Worcester as a potluck, a stew, and a recipe perfectly capture the city's diversity and sense of community.
And the food? Featured here are delicious eats from Say Cheese and The Grub Guru.
Huge props to everyone behind Out to Lunch. Love how they're curating this festival. Seriously, check out who's coming up musicwise. I'm especially excited about Niki Luparelli and her Lana Del Ray tribute. Whoever is curating these bands deserves a standing ovation.
Also pictured is Worcester Poet Laureate. Bummed I just caught the end of her sensational performance.

Always happy to fly the drone for Bill Darmon—especially when we're getting a sneak peek at Boston's hottest new jazz club, Jazz Urbane in Nubian Square, Roxbury. Wait until you see this place.
Even better when we're shooting for a great cause with Goodwill Boston. 🎥 Nonprofits + culture + drone = a pretty good day. ... See MoreSee Less

A few moments from last year's Green River Festival.
One of my favorite weekends of the year—an incredibly well-curated lineup, a super chill atmosphere, amazing food, great sound, intimate stages, and amazing views from everywhere. Still thinking about sets from ChaparelWaxahatcheetchcourtney barnettrnMJ Lendermanerman , and Reyna Tropical.
It's happening again THIS WEEKEND with another killer lineup. Will I see you there?🌲🎶 ... See MoreSee Less

Toward the end of last year, I had a little unexpected downtime — and if I’m not shooting or editing, I start to go a little stir-crazy.
I’d been following the Hole In The Wall: New England Facebook group for a while for the hilarious, irreverent, insightful, autobiographical food reviews by Marisa Adele. When I noticed she’d just started dipping her toes into TikTok, it felt like a great excuse to help bring one of her reviews to life on video — and collaborate with one of the coolest cats in all of Worcester.
That’s what led us to Charcuterie Woo in Paxton.
They serve up awesome charcuterie boxes to go, cater events and parties, and — out of nowhere — started whipping up some of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had. No lie. I kid you not. For real. What started as a home passion project has grown into a full brick-and-mortar spot, and it really feels like a place built with care.
This video was shot for Marisa’s Hole in the Wall New England food blog. Not an ad — just a genuine, blogger-style look at a local business doing things right.
